What is the electronic Work Capacity Certificate (eWCC)?
The electronic Work Capacity Certificate (eWCC) is an electronic format of the Work Capacity Certificate (PDF, 605 KB) and has been introduced into medical practices to enable doctors to quickly and efficiently certify patient capacity and prescribe treatment.
How do we install the eWCC in our Practice Management Software?
To install the electronic Work Capacity Certificate in your practice software, please use the eWCC Self-Installation Guide. For technical assistance please call 1300 782 097.
Medical Director users:
In addition to the eWCC adapter option, Medical Director users can install the electronic Work Capacity Certificate using a ‘widget’ located in the sidebar. For instructions, please read the User guide for installation of eWCC for Medical Director. For technical assistance please call 1300 782 097.
How is the electronic Work Capacity Certificate used?

Please note: You will need to complete a brief authentication process first time you launch a Work Capacity Certificate from your desktop. This process only has to be completed once, and it provides confirmation that submitted certificates are from registered doctors.
