Effective communication

Service standard eight: Take all reasonable steps to provide services and information in a worker’s or employer’s preferred language and format, including through the use of interpreters if required, and to demonstrate respect and sensitivity to a person’s cultural beliefs and values.

We are committed to respecting cultural beliefs, values and communicating to you in your preferred language.

  • We will provide information to our customers in their preferred language, where possible including on the website.
  • We will use interpreters and translators when and where needed.
  • Relevant cultural information will be used when organising services and communication.

If you do not believe our service standards have been met you can raise the issue directly with the person or agency.
