Impairment Assessment Guidelines Second Edition consultation
Consultation on a Second Edition of the Impairment Assessment Guidelines was undertaken during 2021.
The Second Edition Guidelines were published on 24 August 2021. They apply to date of injury on or after that date, until they were revoked on 1 August 2022.
The former Minister for Industrial Relations (the Treasurer) announced in Parliament that he would make submissions for consultation regarding the now revoked Second Edition Guidelines publicly available.
ReturnToWorkSA sought consent from submitting parties to publish their feedback.
This Consultation Feedback document outlines who the submission was from, which part of the industry they represented, and what section of the Guidelines their feedback related to. The document contains varying levels of detail and identification based on the level of consent given.
Feedback provided was beneficial in finalising the second edition of the Guidelines and amendments were made based on the feedback received.
