The resilience and wellbeing program
The Resilience and Wellbeing Program at Futuris was introduced to put positive initiatives in place to assist and support workers through the transition to closure of the site which will occur in 2017. It involved training 10 internal leaders in wellbeing and resilience skills, who then taught these skills to the 200 strong workforce. The program was conducted in partnership with the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute. This focus on building resilience and wellbeing, has resulted in many positive benefits for individual workers as well as to the organisation.
